In his first talk at the 1893 World’s Parliament of Religions in Chicago, Swami Vivekananda invoked the Bhagavad Gita in a call for unity and an end to strife, especially among different religions. See his short text here, and for information on a 2011 artwork by Jatish Kallat based on it–a mining of the archive like those of the artists in the Gregory School’s exhibition Organized Love–go here.
